2001 • Sardinia: Art studies

I was born in Cagliari, in Sardinia. Living on an island taught me that the sea is not a barrier but a road that connects you to the world: boundaries exist only in the mind.
Every month, the mistral wind blows strong across the island, disrupting daily life. It’s an uncomfortable wind that sweeps everything away. But I’ve always liked it: it’s a force of nature that pushes you to adapt creatively. I learned from the wind that change is uncomfortable but necessary to make space for the new.

I’ve always been obsessed with drawing. So many pencils, so many sketchbooks used up since I was a kid! When the time came to choose a high school, I enrolled in the art school in Cagliari, located in a historic building. I saw the drawings, the paintings, the sculptures—and I knew that’s what I wanted to do. There, I learned drawing techniques and later specialized in architecture and design.

2005 • Florence: University and Maser

At 18, I packed my bags and moved to Florence to get a degree in Visual Design. I met many Erasmus students and those who are still my closest friends. I still remember the sore jaw from laughing too much with them—I had a great time. I learned that moving and changing places doesn’t guarantee you’ll find your place in the world, and that you learn a lot through laughter. Between university and a master’s degree, I became a visual and motion designer, working with communication studios and companies in the pharmaceutical industry.

2018 • Back to roots

I returned to Sardinia. Those born on an island—even one as large as mine—understand: the bond with your land is something you can’t sever. I co-founded an association focused on identity, giving value to the language and history of my region. It absorbed me so much that I became its president for a year. Together with my partners, I created and grew two Sardinia-themed festivals. That’s when I realized the events sector was the perfect blend of my skills and passions.

2023 • Barcelona: event design and management

Then the wind changed again. I packed up once more and moved to Barcelona for a course in event design and management at IED. I stayed in this city I’ve always loved—a multicultural, open, curious city, proudly Mediterranean. It stimulates me creatively and makes me feel free. It helped me understand who I am through food: I like to taste many different things, because I’m more curious than hungry.

And here we are today. If you ask me who I am, I’ll tell you I’m a curious person who wants to taste as many things as possible. I’m not one of those creatives who obsessively specialize in just one thing. I’m a multidisciplinary creative who loves experimenting with new languages.

If this sounds like the profile you’re looking for, let’s collaborate!

The language of visual design as a means of communication has always been my passion

Today I am driven by the curiosity to go beyond the two dimensions and explore design and communication strategies in a multidimensional space

Event design is the perfect stage to challenge my acquired skills: a dazzling, multidisciplinary and multifaceted language
